Wonderful

Swimming pool on the top was good. Location was good.

The front charged higher anount at the time of cheking in but corrected later after pointing out booking.com confirmation. Wifi was weak.

In the Granbell's charm, our soirée was a splendid surprise for our cherished family friend

I had a delightful stay at the Granbell Hotel in Colombo, booked for my best friend's birthday surprise. We are 4 of us. The perfect location, stunning sea view room, and capturing a beautiful sunrise and train view made our experience memorable. The rooftop bar offered a breathtaking view, and the pool was a favorite for my friend. The food was amazing, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Truly a special place for celebrations!

NOTHING! BUT the staff members seemed busy and we had to reach out multiple times for assistance, they were good. It was apparent they had numerous tasks, impacting their availability for guest needs. However, I appreciate their hard work and dedication.

Fabulous hotel

The rooftop pool and cocktail bar was amazing with live DJ . Vast breakfast choice and electronic toilets. A real taste of luxury at an affordable price.

The restaurant was closed and there was no notice as to why. We had a chicken burger which uncooked, however it was rectified with fresh food and no charge . The rest of the food and drinks were superb. So I am sure it was just a blip.

Great Hotel and excellent location and comfortable.

The view was ocean front. The spacious and comfort of the room. The hotel has great facilities. Location of the hotel is great and in walking distance to several locations.

We requested an early check-in and it was confirmed by the hotel, unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hour till the room is ready. Apart from this everything was great.

Nice hotel, maybe just needs some time

Beautiful property and rooms. Great gym.

It doesn't feel like its open 100%, cafe not open, restaurant and room service very limited. The hotel as a whole doesn't feel comfortable. Sort of lacks a vibe.

I checked in with my wife at 7 pm so I requested them to extend the check out time around 3 pm but the manager only gave 1 hour from 12 pm check out time, this made us very unhappy and last moment rush in leaving the property

What an amazing Hotel! What an amazing concept! What an amazing staff!

From the minute we walked in we were greeted By a big smile from the staff who was outside the hotel. And then we met Mr.Pradip at the hotel lobby who checked us in. I would like to especially thank him for the amazing service that he gave us, very friendly! and we were so welcomed by him. So thank you Pradip!! Next was the absolutely amazing room that we got from the open doors to the terrace. the room was amazing! the beds were comfy, the toilets were spot on and the view was breathtaking. Clearly a work of absolutely brilliant architecture. My next stop was the rooftop bar, I have an absolutely amazing passionfruit mojito made by the head barmen. Sorry, I don't remember his name but if you visit you should definitely request a cocktail from the head barmen. Next was the Japanese restaurant where our taste buds were beyond pampered afternoon and the evening where we had delicious food. Highly recommend the 5-course dinner that this restaurant offers. Also, thank you to the staff who smiled from the beginning to the end. could see that they were truly and genuinely happy to serve us with a big smile. You guys made our stay so amazing. Overall this is an amazing hotel that you should visit before you die. So I highly recommend it!!!!!

One night quick stopover, nice rooftop bar & pool

It has a great pool and rooftop bar, unfortunately we didn’t get to use it. The rooms are clean with nice views. Good breakfast. We arrived quite late in the evening and left early in the morning, so can’t say too much.

The shower wasn’t warm enough and as we arrived late in the evening from the airport, they had no room service or options for something to eat, but overall is was a ok stay.

it was a beautiful experience and would return for sure

room & bathroom with the sea view was amazing, rooftop bar, pool and view was great, property location is awesome, staff were friendly and attentive

getting checked in took longer than expected, breakfast buffet could do with a bit more options.. but its expected due to the current situation of the country.
